MBI Produces video for Orange County's Infrastructure Report Card
For the third time since 2000, Orange County business and government leaders commissioned a proficiency study grading the county on the efficiency of its infrastructure. A volunteer group of engineers and business leaders critiqued the county management on a total of ten categories, including roadways, airports, schools, solid waste, waste water, and utility.
The grade average on this third infrastructure review was a “C+”—a slight improvement from the previous two reviews. County officials said this was good news considering the grade average for both the state of California and the United States was a “D”.
MBI Media followed members of the Orange County Infrastructure committee, documenting as they presented the “report card” to various community and civic groups. We then produced a video report gauging their reactions to the C+ average, as well as detailing the areas in which the county was graded. In addition, the video report included interviews with key business leaders and elected officials, conducted by MBI.
Once presented, we compressed the video for easy website upload, so affiliated companies and organizations could continue to spread the word on the importance of investing in Orange County’s infrastructure.
