MBI uses 3D Computer Graphics software to create video that supports traditional video with spectacular moving, stylistic and dramatic pictures. We can demonstrate what a project or building will look like and how it fits in with the environment before it is built.
SR-710 Conversations
The Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO) invited MBI‘s Design team to create the SR-710 Conversations collaterals (display boards, flyers and information packets) for a series of 22 meetings in under 8 weeks. This intensive whirlwind of rapid development, design and high quality production pushed MBI‘s team to a whole new level of speed and efficiency.
RCTC - SR-91 Corridor Improvement Plan
As part of its Community Outreach plan, MBI’s in-house graphics department provides the visual communication of RCTC’s mission by preparing important Project Fact Sheets, PowerPoint presentations, large graphic boards, and other communication pieces for the various public meetings.
Jones & Co - Corporate Branding
When Amy Day and Rebecca Jones wanted to start a new division of Safeworks, Inc, they asked MBI to design a whole new look. We built their web site, as well as a complete package of stationary that carries the same look and feel throughout.
Dansure
MBI provided Dansure Inc. with a complete and consistent branding solution. Including logo design, we developed business cards, letter heads, envelopes and brochures.
Los Angeles Community College District - Construction Documentation
MBI’s in-house photographers schedule monthly photo shoots for the $6 Billon LACCD Sustainable Building Program being used to modernize its nine colleges. The purpose of the high quality photographs is to document the construction in progress and to populate the web-based archival library. The photos could also be used for claims and risk management.
Los Angeles Community College District - Finished Building Night Photography
To help LACCD keep the community aware of the progress of one of the nation’s largest green construction efforts, MBI has begun taking photos of completed major projects. These night-time dramatic photos highlight some of the 46 completed buildings.
American Council of Engineering Companies Los Angeles Chapter - Event Photography
These photos highlight the work of ACEC by showcasing their speakers at the luncheons and special events they hold all year. They then use these photos on their website as well as for community outreach. We are proud to help ACEC’s mission to enhance business opportunities of consulting engineers and land surveying professionals.
LACCD Builds Green
MBI designed and currently hosts the www.laccdbuildsgreen.org website. MBI is currently responsible for the one main site which updates all projects. This website is the key portal to the community that contains updates on the progress of the construction at all nine community colleges.
Burbank Reservoir Reconstruction
MBI designed and currently hosts the www.burbankreservoir1.com website. Burbank Reservoir Number 1 is undergoing reconstruction, and this website was created to provide the affected community with information and updates for the project.
World Ports Climate Initiative
The World Ports Climate Initiative website gives the information and tools to improve air quality in ports, reducing emissions of carbon di-oxide to lower environmental impact. MBI was responsible for developing WPCI’s website as well as their branding and logo.
Mobility 21 – Annual Event 2010
Mobility 21 is a Transportation Coalition of elected officials, transportation providers, businesses, local municipalities, labor and community leaders that raise awareness and funding for Southern California’s infrastructure projects. This annual event video, produced by MBI, showcases these officials and their transportation concerns.
LACCD Build SAFE Safety Video
In order to ensure safe building practices for the Los Angeles Community College District, the Buildsafe program partnered with MBI to develop a safety video. MBI filmed, narrated, and provided closed captioning for the video. All employees are required to view the video in order to understand safe practices and become certified to work on LACCD projects.
LACCD - DCOC 2009 Quarter 3
Los Angeles District Citizens Oversight Committee saved the time needed to travel to all eleven colleges of the Los Angeles Community College District by watching our quarterly video presentation documenting the progress of the LACCD Builds Green efforts at all eleven colleges. This was a one-stop mini documentary for the Committee that was produced quarterly by MBI.
American Society of Civil Engineers, Orange County Chapter, Infrastructure Report Card Video
A volunteer group of engineers and business leaders critiqued the county management on a total of ten categories including railways, airports, schools, and other areas. The average grade on this review was a C+, higher than two previous reviews. These improved grades were presented to civic and community groups. MBI used video to record the presentation and to interview key business leaders and elected officials.
American Council of Engineering Companies - Los Angeles Chapter
MBI is involved in community outreach for ACEC, providing materials for community meetings and symposiums to high resolution video presentations. We created a narrated video short chronicling its on-going mission to enhance business opportunities of consulting engineers and land surveying professionals. Our video was featured during its annual “Achievement Awards Banquet”.
Riverside County Transportation Commission - Grade Separations Video
MBI produced a video that successfully balanced the need to talk about the greater issue of freight growth with the localized need for grade separations. This was used to explain the problem not only to local citizens, but to state and federal legislators who could help solve the problem.
I Live With Silence Now
“I Live With Silence Now,” is a video program that targeted Junior High and High School students regarding trespassing on rail property. As word of the video’s effectiveness spread, Metrolink eventually sent it to transportation agencies throughout the United States. It also won two national awards.
