Riverside County Transportation Commission Grade Separation
With this program we successfully balance the need to talk about the greater issue of freight growth with the localized need for grade separations. The challenge is that grade separations are often viewed as a local problem. So why should the federal or state government care about Riverside’s grade separation problems when you have an entire country to worry about? The program explained that Riverside’s issues are unique regarding their size and scope and that the nation’s overall economic goal will never be realized until Riverside’s needs are addressed by building grade separations at key locations.
